We participate in the National School Lunch Program. The meals served to students are designed to meet the dietary guidelines with limited quantities of fat and saturated fat. Lunches contain a variety of whole grain products, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables, low-fat white and fat free, no high fructose corn syrup, flavored milk that students can choose from to fuel their body and mind. Rest assured, when your child eats a school meal, he or she is getting a nutritious meal that will help him or her perform at their best! The Food Services Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being and their ability to learn. Through WUSD we are able to offer meals at no cost to students that qualify for free meals based on the need of the family. Contact us for information on this program.
